JAZZ MUSIC INSTITUTE
The Jazz Music Institute has a very articulated educational path, the study of the instrument is integrated with that of theory, history and analysis, arrangement, ear training to provide a complete picture of jazz music, its styles and its language, both in performance and in the theoretical and cultural dimension.
The training activity combines, in an absolutely unique way in Italy, with that of production, which engages students and teachers in common projects of high artistic level.
The groups regularly collaborate with renowned Italian, European and American artists in high profile projects that often emerge in recordings.
Furthermore, the Break in Jazz festival has been a mainstay in Milan for several years now, as well as Orchestra Senza Confini at the Piccolo Teatro di Milano.
The School has been authorised by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR) to issue university-level qualifications (AFAM) for the 1° cycle Bachelor program.
